Alternative Lighting

LED Application Image 3

Our Advanced technology compatible energy reduction alternative lighting solutions are designed to replace high energy consumption lights.  Our compatible tube lights has wide input voltage tolerance for global compatibility and are widely used in Offices, Retail Stores, shopping malls, freezers, under water, meeting rooms, restaurants, exhibition halls and various other commercial properties. As a humanitarian partner we provide organizations with free energy efficiency lighting auditing.

The key advantages of our light tube are;  Ongoing R&D with Advanced technology, customized solutions, high quality internal power supply, high luminous  efficiency, longer life span, improved physical robustness, smaller size, faster switching, Instant reduction in electric bills from 60% – 80%, and No mercury. The lifespan for our light tubes are much longer than others on the market (50,000+ Hours). Also our compatible energy reduction light tubes can be designed with power backup. Our energy reduction light tubes are made from non-toxic materials, unlike fluorescent lighting that uses mercury that pose a danger to the environment.

LED Lifespan

– 50,000 hours powered 4 hours/day = 34 year lifespan
– 50,000 hours powered 8 hours/day = 17 year lifespan
– 50,000 hours powered 24 hours/day = 6 year lifespan

In 2013, retail supermarket Wal-mart initiated its lighting retrofit project, requiring seven thousand light tubes for (1) location. There is no retrofit requirement with our solution, no need to rewire fluorescent light ballast just unplug fluorescent light and replace fluorescent light with our alternative light tube.

The  LED (light emitting diodes) were first introduced in 1997.  The first commercial LEDs were commonly used as replacements for incandescent and neon indicator lamps, and in seven-segment displays, first in expensive equipment such as laboratory and electronics test equipment, then later in such appliances as TVs, radios, telephones, calculators, as well as watches.

Choice of Light Color

There are two key factors must be considered when specifying the color of a LED tube – the correlated color temperature (CCT) and the color rendering index (CRI).

The color temperature is largely a matter of personal taste. The general preference is to use cool colors for a business-like atmosphere (e.g. in offices, factories, shops) and warm colors for a social atmosphere (e.g. in hotels and the home).

However there is considerable variation between different countries in terms of the most popular light color. The clear favorite in both continental Europe and North America is 4000K Neutral White. In the UK however the preference is for 3500K tubes, which strikes a balance between creating a professional atmosphere whilst providing a feeling of warmth for a friendly working environment. In the colder climes of the Nordic countries the 3000K lamps are preferred, to provide a feeling of warmth when coming indoors. Conversely the hot conditions in Southern Europe lead their populations to prefer a cold color light, which provides the perception of escaping out of the heat into a cool and comfortable interior space. The market in Asia are all for the cool daylight lamps of 5000-6500K, even for residential lighting.

Benefit Of LEDs;

Mercury Free – Unlike fluorescents, LEDs contain no mercury. This makes them safe for the environment.

Directional Lighting – LEDs offer directional light (illumination exactly where you need it). On the other hand, fluorescent have multi-directional light, which means some light is lost in the fixture and other unnecessary places.

Works Well with Controls – Fluorescent lights tend to burn out faster when integrated with occupancy sensors and other controls. In contrast, LEDs work perfectly with control systems, since their life is not affected by turning them on/off.

Better Efficiency – Our LEDs are around 50% more efficient than LFLs.

Quality Light - Our LEDs produce light in a variety of color temperatures similar to fluorescent, but don’t have any flickering issues that can happen with fluorescent.

Lifespan – The average life of our LED is 50,000 – 84,000 hours, versus only 30,000 hours for an average LFL.

Shatterproof  – Our LED tubes are made using plastic and aluminum meaning they are shatterproof.
